Freddie Dando
Over the years, I have spent my time working on the water and discovered my passion for the industry. I have developed a deep understanding of the yachting sector and its unique demands.
I relocated to Liverpool to begin a new chapter to pursue a career in digital marketing, where I gained valuable insights into business development. I had a customer facing sales role which involved me travelling across the UK selling blue chip companies services. With authentic client relations, consulting, and account management experience, I thrive on building lasting partnerships.

After time in that role and a lot of experience gained, I was driven to pursue the yachting industry.
Set on connecting crew with the right opportunities, as well as employers with their desired team, I am focused on providing a fulfilling and personable experience for both clients and candidates. With expertise in the fast-paced nature of this industry, I bring professionalism, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence to every placement.
My goal is to make finding the best opportunity smooth, stress-free, and tailored to the needs of both crew and employers.
Jamie Drake
I started my career in yachting by completing my maritime studies in the South of England, gaining a plethora of qualifications, experience and connections which eventually led me to land my first job in Yachting.
Now, with almost two years of hands-on experience in yachting, I’ve navigated the Mediterranean’s coastlines and depths of the Caribbean. Working as both a deckhand and chase boat captain on private and charter vessels, I have experienced, first hand, how difficult yet rewarding this industry can be. I gained a valuable insight into the demands and dynamics of life at sea which helps me relate and empathise with my candidates and clients expectations.
After my time in yachting, I transitioned into industrial recruitment back home in Bournemouth, where I enhanced my business development skills and discovered my passion for connecting people with the right opportunities.
Drawing on my knowledge of both the yachting and recruitment sectors, the idea for Aqueous Crewing was born.
I take pride in building authentic relationships and delivering a memorable recruitment experience as I believe in maintaining a confident yet approachable demeanor to create a positive and professional environment.
